Some of the images in this kit area meant to overlap text or other sections in the design (see screenshot below). This works best if you are using PNG images that have transparent backgrounds.
If you do not want this, or have images that can not overlap (JPG with solid backgrounds), you can easily adjust these areas using the instructions below.

Home ‘About’ Image: in this section you can simply remove the negative Margin (Top), changing it to zero (as shown in the image below), to stop the image from overlaying the section above. Add a positive number (anything above 0) and you can add some more space above/below the image if needed.

Footer Image: in this section you can replace the shown image with your own and remove the negative margin (left) changing it to zero. Also edit the container, changing the placement of the image to “bottom”. You can also play with the image settings (size) if your image has different dimensions than what is shown. *See screenshots to view where these settings are.

Other Images: many of the other images in the site will function the same way. Removing negative numbers (under Margins) will stop any image from overlapping other items. Play around with these settings to get the result you want.
A good thing to keep in mind is that margins will adjust space around an item’s/container’s border and padding will adjust space within an item’s border. See screenshot below for a good visual indicator of how this works.
