There is a video in my library that will guide you through uploading the templates you purchased. Make sure to remember where you downloaded the files from Creative Market, you will need to access to that folder on your computer to complete the initial steps. Also make sure you have installed the Template Kit Import plugin (the video uses this easy plugin to install & activate your template files). Click the button below to view the video in a popup.
Once you go through the steps outlined in the video, your site should start to take shape with the new design. You will have a new header, footer and possibly some page styling visible when you view the front-end of your site. Additional steps below will help you complete the setup of your new homepage and other pages in the site to complete the setup.
Create your new BLOG page too!
You will want to create a new page that will act as your main blog page. Go to PAGES >> ADD NEW and create this new page from scratch if you do not already have one. Simply give it the name Blog and save it. Below there are instructions on how to convert this into a main blog page through the WordPress system.
