Lorelei: Replacing Images

When replacing pictures, here are a few helpful notes on sizes that work well for areas of the template.

(1) Header Image(s) – This area will adjust to any size/shape image but if you want to retain the style of the demo make sure you load a high quality tall image (for the right side) and a wide image (left side). If you load up different sized/shaped images, you might have to adjust the padding for the text box so it positions itself properly for these changes.

(2) Gallery/Product Images – these images can be any shape that suits your needs. I am using tall images in the demo (images that are taller than they are wide). You will find that it works best to have all images that are similar in shape/size to retain the consistency & shape of the gallery. No matter what size you choose…keep them all the same to retain the proper layout.

(3) Background ‘Call to Action’ Image – almost any image (shape/size) will work here. A larger image (at least 1000px wide) will offer the best quality when it is stretched on larger screens.

(4) Images else where in the page can be any shape/size you want them to be. Some adjustments might need to be made to the text boxes..but in general these other areas are quite flexible.
