You have a choice of two different blog layouts that you can use for your main blog page, if you do not want to use the traditional layout that comes with the child theme. The templates are called “Category Template 1” and “Category Template 2”. By default they are set up as category templates, but you can change their settings so they “take over” your main blog page.
- Go in and edit the template design you have chosen
- Click the up arrow next to the main UPDATE button at the bottom, and choose “Display Conditions”.
- Choose INCLUDE and then POSTS ARCHIVES. This will override your main blog page with the chosen layout.
- View your blog page from the front end to make sure you are happy with your settings before exiting out of the edit screen. This way, if you want to undo your changes, you can use the built-in Elementor history function.
